Sixties Spectacular
Five great acts will bring countless hit songs from the 60s to the Proctors stage November 15, 2025 at 7:00 pm. The lineup features:
GARY PUCKETT AND THE UNION GAP: Handsome and charismatic as ever, Gary sold more records than any other musical act in 1968. His consecutive gold singles were “Woman, Woman,” “Young Girl,” “Lady Willpower,” “Over You,” and “This Girl is a Woman Now.” The audience will love to sign along to these great hits.
THE LOVIN’ SPOONFUL: The Spoonful had seven consecutive top ten hits and sold more records than any band (except for the Beatles and Rolling Stones) in 1966, including “Summer in the City,” “What a Day for a Daydream,” “Did you ever have to Make up Your Mind,” “You Didn’t Have to be so Nice,” “Rain on the Roof” and Nashville Cats,” as well as earlier smash hit “Do you Believe in Magic.”
THE BUCKINGHAMS: In 1967,Billboard Magazine called them “The most listened to band in America.” They became one of the top-selling acts that year with five monster hit records: “Kind of a Drag,” “Don’t You Fare,” “Mercy, Mercy, Mercy,” “Hey Baby, They’re Playing our Song” and “Susan.”
THE CYRKLE: Managed by the Beatles’ manager, Brian Epstein, they opened for the Beatles on their US Summer Tour 14 times in 1066. The Cyrkle are wildly entertaining and had two big hits: “Red Rubber Ball” (written by Paul Simon) and “Turn Down Day.”
ESTEFANO DISANTO: Las Vegas headliner and winner of “Best on the Strip” awards, Disanto is a high energy opening act who brought the Proctors crowd to their feet in his only performance there. He is one of the younger generation of performers dedicated to keeping the amazing music of the sixties alive.
